SGKBK Samajam requires funds for conducting Thadiyarathanai for visiting pilgrims, and for the maintenance and updating of its premises at Kondapalayam, Sholingur. The premises were built on a plot of about 5000 sqft that faces both the hill temples and is adjacent to Guruswamy Bungalow on Pandavatheertham Road. The building, with a Thadiyarathanai hall, kitchen, store room and rest rooms, was completed in November 2013.

The Bhoomi Pooja for the building construction was conducted on November 24th 2011 through the auspices of Brihaspathi Sriman Vasudeva Iyengar of Kondapalayam, Sholinghur.Subsequently watchman quarters was erected, water sump was installed and borewell was drilled in 2012.

Background (from the Samajam’s appeal of 2013): Cement, steel, construction materials and labour costs had risen sharply over the preceding years. The building construction was then estimated to cost over Rs.Fifty Lakhs, and digging for laying of the foundation was expected to start on January 25th, 2013.
